Job Description: 

Cavirin Platform team is looking for full-stack software engineers with experience working on large-scale distributed systems.  As a key member of the global software architecture & engineering team at Cavirin, you will be responsible for end to end engineering lifecycle from requirement, solution architecture, design, implementation, testing and deployment with a focus on delivering state of the art solutions for Cavirin’s customers. This is a hands-on role with a willingness to mentor and technically lead a distributed team, and work in a DevOps model.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product manager, customer to define product feature requirements
  • Design data model, api, workflow,  service orchestration from requirements
  • Write clean, testable, readable and maintainable Java code that scales and performs well
  • Participate in design review, code review
  • Contribute to prototyping, proof of concept, platform research prior to development as needed

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or Mathematics
  • 5+ years of experience  in Java, Spring IOC
  • Experience in backend development  using SQL database such as Postgres /MySQL, NoSQL database
  • Experience in using cacheing technologies such as EhCache, MemCache or Redis
  • Experience with application server, REST API
  • Essential developer tools such as Eclipse, Git
  • Experience with messaging middleware such as Kafka, RabitMQ
  • Experience with software design using ERD,  UML object, activity, sequence diagrams
  • Good  communication, collaboration skills
  • Familiarity in Agile development teams and processes
  • Some experience with JavaScript, Node.js or Python a Plus
  • Experience with ElasticSearch, Logstash is a plus
  • Experience with building scalable microservices architecture a plus

Responsibilities

  • Analyze the technology options, feasibility, and define the build, delivery, and deployment pipeline for applications in cloud and on-premise
  • Provide leadership in implementing a secure, robust, and high availability DevOps pipeline
  • Automate build & deployment processes
  • Work closely with engineers, QA, and project managers throughout the software lifecycle to successfully deliver best in class, large scale systems
  • Implement push button deployment at scale with zero downtime

Qualifications 

  • Strong operational experience in Linux/Unix environment and scripting languages: Shell, Python
  • Strong knowledge and experience working with AWS/Azure/GCP cloud
  • Knowledge of Java build systems and tools including: Maven, Gradle, Ant, SBT, etc.
  • Experience maintaining automated build systems such as Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity or RunDeck
  • A desire to write tools and applications to automate work rather than do everything by hand
  • Experience managing and integrating test automation into various points in a deployment pipeline
  • Knowledge of WebServers and LoadBalancers Apache HTTP Server, Apache Traffic Server, Nginx
  • Experience maintaining large clusters using configuration tools such as: Ansible, Puppet, etc.
  • Solid experience in trouble shooting, debugging, and performance measurement
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies like VMWare ESXi, Docker

You are bright and eager and want to build a successful career in marketing by rolling up your sleeves and learning how to do it from the ground up at a kickass startup. You are creative, have a love of technology, social media, web and hopefully networking. You may even have artistic talent, the ability to write well and learn new things quickly.

You will learn the fundamentals of tech marketing at a game changing startup. You will be challenged, but will come out with a solid set of skills and experiences that will allow you to succeed at Cavirin or anywhere else in the valley.

Responsibilities

  • Take over content creation for all of our company social media accounts, including organizing cross-platform content strategies
  • Develop and nurture social media campaigns taking into account competition and influencers
  • Monitor social channels for relevant news and ideas and leverage this through our accounts
  • Assist with the accurate and timely transfer of Hubspot and BrightTalk data into Salesforce.
  • Assist sales with identifying account-based marketing targets.
  • Assist with trade show logistics where required

Qualifications 

  • Ability to multi-task and take initiative without direction
  • Familiar with social media strategies and platforms
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Hubspot a plus.
  • Some experience with marketing content creation and campaign management
  • Past experience in a security, cloud services, or SaaS company a plus.
  • Past experience in marketing and a portfolio of past projects/campaigns a plus.
  • Completed or are completing a college degree in a related field.
  • The role is based at our Santa Clara HQ
  • This is a part-time – 20 hours/week – role that may evolve into a full-time position.

Cavirin is looking for a Data Scientist to contribute to our next generation platform that supports the security and compliance management of enterprise/data center/cloud infrastructure & applications.   • Work with security data, crunching samples, looking for patterns, identifying behavior, and creating security models
